WELCOME TO MOVING TARGETS :

Teaching English at an elementary school by means of drama and music in a multicultural setting. Each country will be represented by at least one teacher and 5 students :

Let me introduce the teachers to you:

Beth Ashforth ( United Kingdom), represents the Northumbria University and will give a lecture about similarities and differences between cultures.

Hakan Sari ( Turkey) represents Celcuk university and will tell us about teaching English to children with learning difficulties.

Mateja Dagarin ( Slovenia) represents Ljubljana university. She will tell us how she grew up and what the effect was on her education.

Annelies Magerman (Belgium) represents Karel de Grote university and she will tell us as well how she grew up and what the impact was on her education.

The teachers from Avans university( the Netherlands):

Margriet Veenbrink ( English teacher), Kitty van Gulick- van Buul (music teacher) and Carla Nijlunsing ( teacher of drama) will guide you and teach you the tools for teaching English at an elementary school by means of drama and music. Agnes Taks is the coordinator of the entire programme.

The main objective of the programme is the cooperation between students and teachers with a different cultural background, in such a way that spirits will be lifted up and a broader view of Europe as a unifying concept will emerge.

I am looking forward to meeting you,
Agnes
