So Agnes has started off a new blog for Moving Targets... Well, let's get moving then and write something about myself here, so that all of you will get to know me a bit better before I start enjoying you with the details of how to go about teaching English to Dutch children with a variety of cultural backgrounds by means of drama and music.
My name is Margriet Veenbrink, I am 49 years old and I teach English and some other topics at Avans University. I live in a small village close to Breda together with my partner, two large white dogs and one small black cat. I really enjoy living in quiet Molenschot and teaching in lively Breda.
I am not originally from the south of Holland, but I have grown to like the province of Brabant since I came to live here in 1999. I am sure all of you will enjoy Brabant as well-- we will certainly try to make you feel welcome.
I hope to be writing more messages between now and the fourth of April; maybe next time with an added photograph-- I couldn't manage to do so now...

Moving targets is an intensive programme, organised and coordinated by the teacher training college for primary education at Avans University of applied sciences, Breda, The Netherlands. Other participating countries are Belgium, Turkey, United Kingdom and Slovenia. The programme will take place at Avans University in Breda during the first three weeks of April this year.
