Think it's time I wrote an introduction to myself here.
I'm Chris.
Forgive the title to my introduction, it just means hello from the part of England that I'm from. It's friendly. Honest.
I'm 22 and like some have already posted, music is a big part of my life. I play guitar and sing (solo) whilst I also play bass in a very new band called Silva Method. Some of my music can be found at www.myspace.com/chrissharpmusicuk, feel free to comment on it and I hope you like it! The band is yet to record but will hopefully have done so by the time we all actually meet.
Aside from music, I also love sport. I'm a huge football fan! I support one team (Everton) but have a season ticket for another team (Newcastle) just because I'm living there! Hopefully I'll be able to see a game or two whilst over in Breda.
Think that'll be all for now. Can't wait to meet people and hopefully make some amazing music in free time :)
Moving targets is an intensive programme, organised and coordinated by the teacher training college for primary education at Avans University of applied sciences, Breda, The Netherlands. Other participating countries are Belgium, Turkey, United Kingdom and Slovenia. The programme will take place at Avans University in Breda during the first three weeks of April this year.

an introduction
Hello everyone!
I've heard that I had to wright something down, about myself. So here we go, let's introduce myself a bit. I'm Alex, 18, and you guys will stay over at my place in Terheijden. It's a great, small village next to Breda. I'm already looking forward to start with the program! When I'm not at school, I probably am making some music. I play piano, I sing(solo and in a band) and I'm going to drum in a rockband. Music askes a lot of my time and I really love it! I also hang out a lot with my friends and I love to ride my horses.
I hope we'll have a wonderfull time.

Hello everybody
So Agnes has started off a new blog for Moving Targets... Well, let's get moving then and write something about myself here, so that all of you will get to know me a bit better before I start enjoying you with the details of how to go about teaching English to Dutch children with a variety of cultural backgrounds by means of drama and music.
My name is Margriet Veenbrink, I am 49 years old and I teach English and some other topics at Avans University. I live in a small village close to Breda together with my partner, two large white dogs and one small black cat. I really enjoy living in quiet Molenschot and teaching in lively Breda.
I am not originally from the south of Holland, but I have grown to like the province of Brabant since I came to live here in 1999. I am sure all of you will enjoy Brabant as well-- we will certainly try to make you feel welcome.
I hope to be writing more messages between now and the fourth of April; maybe next time with an added photograph-- I couldn't manage to do so now...
Regards,
Margriet Veenbrink.

Introduction
My name's Jossy Hadash, 23 years old. I'm born in Breda, The Netherlands - where I still live. I got an older sister and a little brother. My hobbies include playing the piano, singing, basketball, chess, traveling and everything that has to do with computers. After gymnasium, I've studied History at the University of Utrecht for 1 year. I didn't finish this course, since I had a wonderful job offer. I worked as a supervisor on the financial market for about 3 years. By working hard, I achieved a high position within the company, being the #3 boss of the company and responsible for all IT-matters. Because it was hard work (80 hours a week) I wanted to do something outside the commercial sector, so I chose to quit this job.
The reason why I became interested in becoming a teacher has to do with the fact that my mom is a teacher as well. I also like to be around children and I've unofficially taught English in Taiwan. Since I was young I was thinking about becoming a teacher, but my experiences in Taiwan have made me help to make my final decision.
WELCOME TO MOVING TARGETS :
Teaching English at an elementary school by means of drama and music in a multicultural setting. Each country will be represented by at least one teacher and 5 students :
Let me introduce the teachers to you:
Beth Ashforth ( United Kingdom), represents the Northumbria University and will give a lecture about similarities and differences between cultures.
Hakan Sari ( Turkey) represents Celcuk university and will tell us about teaching English to children with learning difficulties.
Mateja Dagarin ( Slovenia) represents Ljubljana university. She will tell us how she grew up and what the effect was on her education.
Annelies Magerman (Belgium) represents Karel de Grote university and she will tell us as well how she grew up and what the impact was on her education.
The teachers from Avans university( the Netherlands):
Margriet Veenbrink ( English teacher), Kitty van Gulick- van Buul (music teacher) and Carla Nijlunsing ( teacher of drama) will guide you and teach you the tools for teaching English at an elementary school by means of drama and music. Agnes Taks is the coordinator of the entire programme.
The main objective of the programme is the cooperation between students and teachers with a different cultural background, in such a way that spirits will be lifted up and a broader view of Europe as a unifying concept will emerge.
I am looking forward to meeting you,
Agnes
